Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Tobias Keene brings a bit of unabashed Southern hospitality to all his patients. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. Tom graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania. He is married with 2 adult children. Tom spent his working career managing large complex construction projects. He served on the North Allegheny School Board for 10 years from 2005-2015. Tom is a Board member and Secretary for Caring Heart Ministries (Mexico). He is also a Life member of the National Society of Professional Engineers and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. As a member of Borough Council, Tom supported the on-going development of our 4 Borough Parks. He currently serves as Council’s 2nd Vice President and as the Borough’s representative to the North Hills Council of Government. Tom provided input to Franklin Park VFC during the design of the new Fire Station. He actively participated in the selection of the new Borough Manager, Police Chief and Borough Engineer.
